In the first update for 2026, we’re pleased to share a comprehensive set of enhancements across Fatigue360, the Fatigue360 Workforce App, MacRail System, MacRail Worksite App, and Worksite360. These updates focus on smarter workforce coordination, stronger compliance visibility, improved reporting, and meaningful performance gains across the entire platform.

Platform-Wide Improvements (All Products)

Performance & Reliability Enhancements

We have implemented several foundational improvements that benefit all products across the platform:

• Improved reliability of interactions with our external caching service, reducing the likelihood of read/write interruptions affecting user or system actions.
• Additional database indexing to improve login speed and all processes involving User account searches.

These updates collectively improve responsiveness, stability, and overall system efficiency.

Fatigue360

Shift Request System

A powerful new Shift Request capability has been introduced to streamline the process of filling vacant shifts. When selecting an empty shift, users can now send a targeted request directly from the sidebar to:

• Specific named individuals
• A defined team
• Personnel working for a selected supplier
• Individuals holding a required competency

Recipients are notified via the Fatigue360 Workforce App or email and can accept or decline the request. The shift is automatically allocated to the first person who accepts, removing manual coordination and accelerating fulfilment.

Performance Improvements

• Enhanced performance when validating multiple permissions within a single process.
• Improved calculation speed of shift issue statuses, particularly noticeable for Events spanning multiple months.
• Client-side performance improvements when loading large datasets via importers.

Shift & Planning Enhancements

• Working from Home Option: Planned shifts can now be marked as Working from Home, automatically setting travel time to zero.
• Contracted Weekly Hours: Staff records now support contracted weekly hours, feeding directly into the Primary Staff in Need of Hours dashboard widget.
• Supplier Shift Deletion Warning: When deleting a Supplier shift, users now receive a clear warning that this action will mark the shift as Cancelled within the Supplier environment.

Accommodation Planning

When creating Accommodation records for a longer period of time (e.g., each week a person will stay in accommodation) this can be done in one go, creating multiple records for each week when selecting the option to 'exclude weekends'.

Dashboard & Reporting Enhancements

• Individual clause breaches are now visible within unresolved shift issues.
• Option added to hide “Rest Before” on the dashboard where monitoring focuses solely on “Rest After.”
• New Staff Shift History Export, including: Total shifts worked, First planned and actual shift, Last planned and actual shift.
• New Shifts - Deleted Report showing shifts that were deleted, the Event they were on and who deleted them.
• Race card Export and Staff Competencies Report now reference the Supplier company where applicable.

Client-Specific Integrations

• TfL Import Update: Shifts no longer present in the source export are now automatically cancelled using their unique reference identifier.
• SFTP Integration Improvements: Validation sequencing has been improved, and error messaging now includes individual names where applicable.
• MacRail Induction Linking: Where shifts are linked to a MacRail induction, the name of any missing induction is now clearly displayed within the shift sidebar.

Bug Fixes

• Roster view where new events would not be created if the finish time was before the start time.
• Index recalculations when deleting cancelled or Did Not Attend shifts
• Leave drill-down on dashboard behaviour where no finish date existed
• Event import crash caused by invalid year values
• Travel/rest visibility within the shift timeline viewport
• Leave comments appearing incorrectly within export files
  
  

Fatigue360 Workforce App

Enhancements

• Updated Shift Request screen to support the new targeted shift request functionality.
• Users can now edit: Time left to rest, Time returned to rest, Travel times. Ensuring accurate door-to-door time capture.
• Shift comments (when enabled in Fatigue360 settings) are now visible within shift details.
• Users can add comments when submitting leave requests, where leave requests are enabled.
• Travel shifts are now visible within the App and can be signed in and out of.
  
  

MacRail System

Enhancements

• Updated Induction Manager allows Fatigue360 clients to copy staff data directly into their setup, including name, cards, phone number, sponsor/supplier, and primary role.
• The enrolment process can now require users to upload photos of Sentinel or CSCS cards.
• The Pre-populated Card Issues Automated Report now identifies individuals missing required inductions.
• The Red Flag module can now be filtered to show individuals flagged for missing TRUST induction for TRU Central.
• TRUST induction handling updated for TRU Central: Site-based validity extended to 30 days & FR block removed
• Clearer on-screen messaging confirms when enrolment submission is complete.

Reporting

A new Total Hours Report has been added to the Report Builder and Automated Reports suite. This provides visibility of cumulative on-site time and total door-to-door time

Bug Fixes

• Resolved an issue where overlength Vehicle Registration values could cause import failures.
  
  

MacRail Worksite App (v1.10.0)

Equipment Assignment

Users holding a valid Manager Licence can now assign equipment to individuals signed into the same Event. This comes with the option to scan a QR code to get the equipment identifier / serial. These can still be entered manually where there is no QR code. When signing out via the App, if the equipment is supposed to be returned at the end of the shift this is flagged to the User improves equipment traceability and accountability onsite.

Worksite360

Dashboard & Register Enhancements

• Live and Week Dashboards (Company / Area level) now support export (in Excel format) records (e.g. DNSO) for the total for the Company or Area.
• Equipment terminology updated from “Lent” to “Assigned” for clarity and consistency.
• Register History now shows the specific worksite within the Event where an individual last signed in.
• Facial Recognition devices can now be moved between Gateways within the system.

Bug Fixes

• Resolved an issue where Manager Responsible was not displayed within the Red Flag Module.
