September 2024: Release Notes
Fatigue360
Enhancements
- Assessments for Planned Shifts: We have extended the "Assessments for Actual Shifts" feature to now include Planned Shifts. This allows managers to conduct risk assessments for upcoming work more effectively.
- Staff Notifications for Assessments: A new toggle has been added under the User tab in the Staff Record. This feature allows managers to specify which staff members should receive notifications regarding risk assessments - including exceedances or assessments that require completion (if enabled in settings).
- Shift Role Experience Notice: A new notice has been added to the Role field within the Shift Sidebar. This note displays the number of shifts a staff member has worked in that particular role over the past 365 days, up to the date of the selected shift.
- Shift Competencies Overview: Within the Shift Sidebar, below the Role dropdown, users can now expand a new section to view the competencies required for the selected shift. This provides clear visibility into necessary qualifications directly in the shift planning interface.
- Fatigue360 Workforce App Settings: New options have been added to the Settings screen for the Fatigue360 Workforce App. These provide users with additional customisation options for better alignment with workforce needs. (More Details available in this post: Fatigue360 Workforce App - Workforce360 - Updates)
- Enhanced Report Filtering with Tags: Tag-based filtering has been added for report generation. Users can now apply tags to streamline and filter results when running reports, enabling more precise and efficient data analysis.
- Show Supplier Fatigue/Risk Indexes: New option added to the Organisation Relationship for the 'client' to control whether the Fatigue & Risk Indexes are displayed.
- TRU East Event Statuses: Added new custom Event statuses to allow tracking of where an Event is based on internal statuses/workflows.
Integrations
- COINS Integration: The integration with COINS has been enhanced to provide detailed reporting on the number of records processed. This includes specific information on any errors encountered during the data processing, allowing for more effective troubleshooting and accuracy in data synchronisation.
- A-Site Integration: Logging improvements have been made to the A-Site integration. The system now clearly logs instances when Events or Shifts are not added if the corresponding role does not exist in Fatigue360 or when enabled data isn't to be updated on existing records. This helps users identify and resolve any discrepancies.
Bug Fixes
- Training Role Dropdown Issue: Fixed an issue where the Training Role dropdown was not correctly populating with the list of available roles. This ensures that all roles are now visible and selectable as intended.
- Fatigue360 Workforce App 2FA Issue: Fixed an issue where 2FA code would not be recognised in the App if they User had used their username instead of email address.
- Password Reset Failure: Addressed a bug that occasionally caused the password reset feature to fail when attempting to send a reset link to a staff member. The process is now more reliable, ensuring smoother password management for users.
MacRail System
Enhancements
- Pre-Populated Issues Report: The Issues Report feature has been updated to include potential Door-to-Door breaches, with travel time now calculated automatically during pre-population. This enhancement aims to provide better visibility into compliance and travel concerns.
- Workforce Portal Excel Export: The Workforce Portal now includes an option to export Register data to Excel. This allows users to easily share, analyse, and archive workforce information.
- Updated Briefing Text: The 'Briefing Given' text has been updated to 'Brief Given & Confirmed Fit For Work'. This ensures that records accurately reflect that both a briefing has been conducted and that the worker has confirmed their fitness for duty.
- Loaned Equipment Serial Number Length: The allowed length for serial numbers of loaned equipment has been increased, enabling users to input longer serial numbers for improved equipment tracking.
Bug Fixes
- Register Importer: Handling Multiple First Names: Fixed an issue in the Register Importer that incorrectly handled names with multiple first names. Now, during import, the system checks the full name from the Excel document against the name in the system and properly splits names based on the last space. For example, "First Middle Last" will now correctly import as "First Middle" for the first name and "Last" for the last name, ensuring no name parts are lost.
